Automotive observer Dolly Indra Nasution said that hosting a MotoGP motorbike race is not just about building a circuit. He considered there were many aspects that should be of concern to the organizers.

In addition to the plan, the former national racer stated that the aspects of supporting infrastructure were no less important to highlight. “This is big work,” Dolly said.

Dolly explained that from the audience side the MotoGP race will be enlivened by tens of thousands of fans from various countries. He predicts at least 100 thousand people will come to watch the race directly from the edge of the circuit. With the explosion of visitors, he said, the most basic supporting facilities, such as hotels and transportation access, should be able to accommodate. “Have not spoken to the airport. All that must be considered,” he said.

Dolly does not want visitors to be disappointed because the host or organizer is not prepared to meet the basic needs of tourists or MotoGP viewers. “(Needs) The driver team, mechanics must also be considered,” he said.

Next is human resources. Dolly said the manager must have prepared officers who were directly involved in the race or the Marshall. According to the former Secretary General of the Indonesian Motorbike Association, the Marshall election cannot be designated because certain knowledge about the race is needed. “It works a lot. It must be someone who is dedicated (dedicated),” he said.

Dolly also hoped that with the remaining time of around two years the construction of the Mandalika Circuit the management would also pay attention to other supporting facilities outside the track. “I welcome it if it can happen because it is not easy for the MotoGP grand prix title,” he said.

The Mandalika Circuit will be inside the Mandalika tourist area, West Nusa Tenggara, which is managed by the state-owned Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC). In addition to circuits, managers also built hotels, hospitals and retail areas.
