AirAsia’s budget airline opens the latest route from Indonesia to the land of the Kangaroo. Now, it targets the areas of Lombok and Perth in Western Australia.
In its latest release from AirAsia Indonesia, starting March 24, 2019, a traveler can start booking flight tickets from Lombok to Perth. AirAsia’s airline, opens this route to support Lombok as one of the 10 priority destinations for New Bali, which is aimed at increasing the potential of international tourists to Indonesia.
The flight will open from 9 June 2019. It has a frequency of 4 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Lombok-Perth Flight (QZ 470) will depart at 14.45 Lombok Time and arrive at 18:40 Perth time. Whereas Perth-Lombok (QZ 471) will depart at 7:30 pm Perth time and arrive at 23:25 local Lombok time.
“Today is the beginning of the establishment of AirAsia’s newest hub while supporting the transformation of Lombok as a new Bali. In the next few months, this island will become a tourist destination that is increasingly in demand by Australians, especially with relatively short flights from Perth,” said Dendy Kurniawan, Director The main AirAsia Indonesia was released to AFP on Thursday (3/14/2019).
